A one day, hands on approach to the assessment, diagnosis and management of strabismus including:
  • Pre course reading material 
  • Lectures on 
       Demystifying the orthoptic report 
       Common presentations of comitant and incomitant strabismus 
       Surgical and non surgical management of strabismus 
       Amblyopia and assessment of vision in children 
       Common examination cases 
  • Patient based small group practical sessions 
  • Practical experience in interpreting Hess charts


Suitable for all trainee Ophthalmologists, particularly those about to sit the part 2 FRCOphth exam.
